As we mentioned in the last post we love the beach. And if you love the beach, the Myrtle Beach area has 60 miles of them known as “The Grand Strand”.
We generally love to visit the beach early in the morning for sunrise and late in the evening for sunset. We spent most of our time doing just that.
At the heart of Myrtle beach was a 1.2 mile boardwalk. We enjoyed the walk that had many shops and restaurants.
The Skywheel ferris wheel along the boardwalk and adjacent to the beach was incredible. It was beautiful at night being all lit up. At 187 feet tall it is considered the highest one on the East Coast.
Myrtle Beach also had many golf courses as well as several miniature golf courses.
We love brick oven pizza!
And Krissy Kreme too!
We stayed at Ocean Lakes Family campground right next to the beach and ocean. This RV resort was fantastic with every amenity you could want. We could hear the ocean from our campsite which made for great sleeping! We highly recommend this park when coming to Myrtle Beach.
We will see you soon at the Outer Banks of North Carolina!
