We are of the mind that there are two rules of thought when it comes to RVing.
- There is CAMPING…
2. Then there is GLAMPING…
When Wendy and I think about camping we are thinking of campfires, s’mores, hiking, National and State park campsites and fun with kids and grandkids. The small size of this RV (21 feet) will allow us to camp in RV sites that are generally smaller. In many National and State Parks, the RV sites are for RVs that are 30 feet and less. Our “baby camper” will allow us to enjoy these type of experiences.
As for glamping, this motorhome is our COW (condo on wheels). Our plans for this RV will include extended stays (30 days or more) in RV resorts foremost. In a RV resort atmosphere there will mostly be paved roads, concrete pads and full hookups that include 30/50 amp electrical service, water, sewer, Wi-Fi and sometimes cable TV. The amenities usually include a clubhouse, swimming pool, and exercise gym. Also, pickle ball courts are now popular in newer RV resort settings. We are excited to inform you that we just purchased our glamping motorhome from Independence RV in Winter Garden, Florida.
The Lord has truly blessed us with the ability to make our dream of RV travel a reality. We are very thankful for the opportunity to either go camping or glamping and share our varied experiences with you along the way.
We sincerely hope our new blog will help all of you in some way as you plan your RV travels!
NOW LET’S GET OUT THERE AND SEE OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!
HAPPY TRAILS!
